Job DescriptionThe Cash Office Clerk assists in all phases of controlling the flow of funds throughout the resort.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Comply with all The Great Escape Resort policies and proceduresIssuing tills to in-park staffCollection of coin operated games and related meter readings when necessaryCollection in-park game revenuesDaily cash pickupsCheck-in of returned bags and tracking of those not returnedCounting of cash pickups, and returned tills, and games collectionsRebuilding tills for the next day's useBalancing of daily depositsVault countsKeeping the cash control office clean and organizedSorting and counting of gate tickets as neededParking lot collections and ticket reconciliationsOperation of coin counting machineryMaintaining relations with guests and other staff membersSkills and Qualifications:18 years old preferred but not requiredMust be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of timeFor safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageBe available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelinesAbility to lift over 70lbsValid New York State Drivers' license preferredOther Functions:All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.Six Flags is a Smoke and Drug Free Equal Opportunity Employer
