BASIC FUNCTIONSTo provide administrative support to the Live Production department and Administration Offices. To provide back up to other live production areas as needed. Must be a friendly self-starter individual with a pleasant phone voice and energetic personality. Requires Microsoft Office experience and at least 1 year of office and/or clerical experience. Individual will be actively involved in the Company Safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department. AA degree or related experience preferred but not required.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Duties and Responsibilities Manage incoming feed orders re-direct to appropriate feed departments. Coordinate data input to Excel worksheets on a daily basis. Schedule live production deliveries. Monitor office area and farm areas and ensure cleanliness. Monitor service reports and grow packets. Make outbound customer calls as needed. Support Service techs reporting needs. Ability to multi-task, adapt to rapid changes and work well under limited supervision.Must be computer literate, especially with Microsoft Office products. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Participate in Company and department safety program. Comply with Company Policies and Procedures. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/JOB TRAININGTo perform this job successfully, applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Spanish a plus but not required.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve problems and/or adjustments related to changing conditions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and verbal forms, such as customer orders. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and managements.Physical Demands:Ability to carry out repetitive motions of the arms, wrists and hands. Ability to use hands to feel objects, tools and controls. Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pound boxes and material regularly. Ability to regularly stand, walk, and climb, balance, stoops, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must have close and distance vision and ability to distinguish colors. WORK ENVIRONMENTWork Environment:Has constant access to confidential information. Normal heated/ventilated office environment. Occasionally subject to plant conditions (temperatures ranging from 28 50 degrees).
