Our client is seeking a Corporate Transactional Paralegal, on a direct hire basis, for their Hartford office. This paralegal will support the attorneys in the firm's Finance Practice. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Drafting transaction documentation with strict attention to detail, then coordinating execution of those documents
+ Preparing and filing UCC financing statements and other documents to be recorded with federal, state and local filing offices
+ Conducting procedural and factual research and UCC and other lien searches with appropriate filing offices
+ Performing due diligence with regard to corporate good standing and authority and reviewing for accuracy
+ Assisting with transaction closings; overseeing finalization and execution of securities and loan documentation
+ Managing closing mechanics and verifying all requirements have been met before closing
+ Communicating with multiple clients on a regular basis
+ At least 4-6 years' experience as a paralegal handling commercial transactions, including familiarity with UCC and Lien Searches
+ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
+ The ability to handle multiple assignments under time constraints and be detail oriented
+ Flexibility with overtime required
+ A demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel and excellent oral and written communication skills
