Overview

This position provides technical support for the Special Projects Director. The duties performed include, but are not limited to assisting with reporting follow up, working on special projects, answering non-routine correspondence, and communicating with a diverse group of important external callers and internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones, checks voice mail, receive/send e-mail and act as liaison to Account Management and Special Projects Department
  • Collects, Prepare and deliver records based on clients' delivery frequencies.
  • Assist with Project import/load and client set up
  • Clean and ensure accuracy and integrity of data
  • Follow up on reporting to assist in meeting timelines for customer deliveries
  • Assist in preparation of reports, correspondence and investigates issues when necessary
  • Collects, summarizes, inputs data for Operational Reports
  • Provide support for data management activities and attend relevant meetings as the expert
  • Assist with customer questions and reporting needs
  • Assist with client project onboarding such as Project QA, Import and set up/configuration
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by the Special Projects Director Qualifications

Education/Other Skills

  • Associates Degree with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in analyzing and managing data in the healthcare industry and/or the Release of Information industry (Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Working conditions

  • Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, with protection from weather conditions.
  • Exposure to noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable is present in only unusual situations.
  • Physical requirements Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90% of the time, while walking is required about 10% of the time. Standing is required over 30% of the time. The sense of touch is required 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time. Bending, twisting, and climbing are required, as is far vision, but only for 10% or less of the time. Low levels of lifting (10 pounds or less) are required about 25% of the time, while medium levels (20 to 40 pounds) of lifting and carrying are required less than 5% of the time. High levels (52 pounds) of lifting are required under 2% of the time.
  • Driving is a considerable portion of the position.
Qualifications
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical and technical concepts.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer skills including Windows based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)
  • Microsoft Excel Intermediate Level (formulas, pivots, VLOOKUP's to name a few).
  • Excellent organizational/multi-tasking skills.
  • Adaptable to changing business environment.
  • Ability to work within a diverse work group environment.
  • 1 to 2 years of working experience in data management - Technical environment preferred but not required Education/Other Skills
