The AVP, Planning and Execution will be responsible for driving the successful execution of critical network components and initiatives related to Beacons strategic product capabilities. Success in this role will require the AVP to partner closely with our Regional P&L, Clinical and Network team leaders to determine the strategic network needs to support incremental growth. Additionally, this role would also serve as the corporate strategic lead to align, prioritize and harmonize network initiatives with Beacons shared service teams (Corporate Strategy, Clinical, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, etc.). Position Responsibilities: Align with Network Strategy, Intelligence and Value Based Payment functions as well as Network Operations and Clinical areas to ensure alignment on strategic goals Partner with regional and corporate teams to help determine network strategic requirements (criteria for provider recruitment, exclusion, reimbursement methodologies, etc) to support network strategic initiatives Lead network initiative business case development process- partnering closely with regional teams and corporate functions Support financial modeling, risk sharing and capital deployment requirements. Key liaison to support underwriting/pricing and benefit assumptions Partner with regional COOs, regional provider teams (network build, contracting, provider data) and other corporate functions(e.g. communications, hr, training, finance, accounting) to support network initiative implementation requirements Supports and works in collaboration with peers to create best strategy and planning practices Leads a team and is responsible for: Overall lifecycle of employee Develops, coaches and educates staff to support success and development Compliance with all related employee trainings, reviews and requirements as applicable Position Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree required. Graduate degree (MBA, MSW) or advanced certificate (Project Management) a plus. Relevant Work Experience: Demonstrated 4-7 industry experience. Previous or current Beacon experience with strategic planning, managerial consulting, product design/ implementation, network contracting and/or market business development/account management functions is preferred. Managerial experience in a complex matrixed organization strongly desired. Leader of people and process.
